A The learning management system and the academic affairs system (hereafter, a set of these systems are referred to as "both systems") are built in a cloud and/or data center. Both systems can be accessed and managed via the Internet. Both systems can be connected to Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) through the Science Information NETwork 5 (SINET5) which is managed by National Institute of Informatics (NII). In particular, the academic affairs system should be protected by a firewall(s) because the system must be built in the main server which is not connected to the Internet.
B The user can connect to and use both systems via personal computer (Windows OS or Mac OS installed) and smart phone operated by Android OS or iOS. For the management of both systems, the user can access both systems via personal computer with Windows OS installed. The user can log in to both systems with a password. Both systems have the single sign-on (SSO) function.
