⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement :
A The computer system for the education must be composed of an integrated information sharing subsystem for the education and research, a basic education practice subsystem, and a specialized education and research practice subsystem.
B These subsystems must be connected with each other using a high-speed network and connected to University LAN.
C The following maintenance systems are necessary for stable use of a system. One is a prevention of a system failure, and quick correspondence at the time of failure.
D Safe and effective security countermeasures, labor saving and energy conservation must be achieved concerning the operation system.
E The system must operate with the UNIX operating system, and have its software development environment.
F The system must have an enough data processing ability, the storage capacity, and the network performance for the education and research at the Department of Information Science.
