A This system is operated as a part of the Super-Kamiokande detector. Therefore, the system has to have the capability to be operated 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
B This system will be operated with the existing computer system for the Super-Kamioka Experiment.
C Some of the physics target events are expected to occur once in several tens of years. Therefore, the downtime of the system should be minimal.
D The contractor must provide hardware and software supports 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
E This system is required to be highly reliable and able to process huge amount of data from the detector in real-time.
F Migration of the system is required to be completed without a long interruption of the experiment.
G Currently running data acquisition software has to be easily migrated to the new system.
H The user information, files, installed application and utility software in the current system must be copied to this system.
